自画像是西方艺术的亘古素材，因其不受种种条件约束而可以自由发挥。对自我形象的观察、表现也是人类自我观照的一个缩影和象征，因此自画像本身也超越了一般定义上形象记录载体的意义。
Self-portraits are a timeless theme in Western art, as they offer the freedom of expression unconstrained by various conditions. The observation and representation of one's self-image also serve as a reflection and symbol of human self-examination, thereby transcending the mere definition of image recording medium.

In this series, the individual's image is entwined, torn, and contorted by ropes, becoming a fragmented presence. The image, subjected to compression, distorts and restricts its original three-dimensionality, creating a sense of spatial oppression.

五官 | The Facial Features
在传统的艺术表达和基础训练中，人体面部五官常作为习作的切入点，如对眼、鼻、口、耳的石膏模型进行写生。
In traditional figurative art and basic training, the facial features of the human body are often used as starting points for exercises, such as plaster model sketches of the eyes, nose, mouth, and ears.
受此启发，艺术家选择以自己的眼睛、鼻子、嘴巴和耳朵分别作为每幅作品的主题，来表达感官在特定社会环境中被遮蔽、扭曲和分裂的状态。
Inspired by this, the artist chose his own eyes, nose, mouth, and ears as the themes for each piece of work, aiming to express the state in which the senses are obscured, distorted, and torn apart in a specific societal context.
